So the other week (as I’m sure you know) was London Fashion Week. We’ve had New York, we’ve had Milan and Paris will happen in a few days time, but London is the one for me!
Some of the best shows happen in London, from Burberry to Mulberry, and although I didn’t make it to all of them (some of us have to work you know!) but what I did see from Bora Aksu to Maria Grachvogel was very ethereal and pastel based. SS13 will be very pretty!

……and Harry Potter’s Emma Watson and Gossip Girl’s Taylor Momsen are two of the hottest young’uns of the moment.
So let’s start with Burberry’s girl Watson. Not quite content enough with a spot of modelling she’s now added the ‘designer’ string to her bow. Her collaboration with the ethical fashion company, People Tree as creative director, has just launched online with ranges for the boys and girls and some pretty accessories too.
I think my favourite piece is this button down fair trade cotton dress for a refreshingly good value £30
And another fashion orientated piece is this ‘bedford waistcoat’.
The dresses section is my fave for the girls with union jacks and breton stripes. Yummy.
And for the boys there’s this stunning kingswood check scarf (modelled by a rather dishy model) with a union jack tshirt to match the boys with the girls.
AND now for Taylor Momsen, oh how I love thee.
She’s lent her grungy taste to the increasingly stylish New Look collection. As you’d expect from Momsen the collection is all about her Glunge inspirations. Check out these looks for something to drool over. And in the meantime there’s the new Oxford Circus branch opening this weekend to keep us wishing for more.

Ooh Summer is looking good. And I know where I’ll be shopping tomorrow.
And looking at the high street at the moment it seems everybody’s looking away from the big names towards something new and exciting.
